ANARCHISTISCHE BIBLIOTHEEK GRATIS BOEKEN LENEN, ELKE ZATERDAG VAN 14.00 TOT 18.00! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- De Anarchistische Bieb is een plek waar je elke zaterdagmiddag boeken kunt lenen. Ben je geïnteresseerd in thema’s zoals anarchisme (de geschiedenis en toekomst) kraken, groen anarchisme antiracisme, kunst, cultuur, antirepressie-gevangenis etc, dan ben je hier aan het goede adres. De bieb bestaat al sinds 2002 en heeft sindsdien een indrukwekkende collectie opgebouwd. We hebben klassiekers, prachtige levensverhalen van anti-autoritaire strijders en strijdsters, unieke uitgaves, strips en films. In allerlei talen als Nederlands, Engels, Spaans en Duits. Verder hebben we ook veel boeken in huis die je nergens anders in Nederland kunt krijgen, van kleine uitgevers, over onbekende thema’s of afkomstig uit schimmige stencilkelders. Van toegankelijk tot absoluut onleesbaar. Kortom voor elk wat wils. Bovendien is de bieb gesitueerd in het gezellige café de Bollox, gelegen in de binnentuin van het complex de Binnenpret. Iedereen kan hier binnenlopen, of het nou is om een boek te lenen, een van de vele internationale tijdschriften te lezen, een koffie te drinken of te komen kletsen. Lenen? Je kunt een boek drie weken lenen door 5 euro borg, je naam en nummer achter te laten. We maken dan een lidmaatschapskaartje. Na deze periode van drie weken kun je het boek twee weken verlengen door zaterdag de bieb te bellen of de AGA een mailtje te sturen (agamsterdam@yahoo.com). Raak je het boek kwijt, dan moet je 20 euro vervangingskosten betalen naast de ingeleverde borg. Heeft het boek schade die niet is veroorzaakt door het lezen zelf, zoals waterschade, dan houden wij ook de borg. Wie? De bieb wordt gerund door de AGA, de Anarchistische Groep Amsterdam. We zijn een groep mensen die naast de bieb dingen doen als informatie avonden organiseren, een blad uitbrengen (genaamd Directe Actie) en acties rond themas als wonen, werk, repressie, antiracisme. Ben je geïnteresseerd in wat wij doen dan kun je ons in de bieb ontmoeten. Onze groep is anti-autoritair, basis democratisch en keert zich tegen de repressieve staat waar de belangen van de machthebbers zwaarder wegen dan die van de mensen zelf. Waar? ANARCHIST LIBRARY BORROW BOOKS FOR FREE EVERY SATURDAY FROM 14.00 TILL 18.00! The Anarchist Library is a place where you can borrow books every saterday afternoon. If you are interested in topics like anarchism (history and future), squatting, green anarchism, art, culture, anti-racism, prison struggle, etc, then our library is the right place for you. We started the library in 2002 and have since then built up an impressive collection. There’s classic, beautiful life stories of anti authoritarian freedomfighters, unique editions, very old books, comics and movies. In languages like Dutch, English, Spanish and German. We also have many books that are nowhere else to be found in the Netherlands, from small publishers, with unconventional themes or from shady stencilcellars. From accessible to absolutely unreadable. So, something for everyones likes. Besides that the library is situated in the nice bar the Bollox, in the courtyard of the Binnenpret complex. It’s open to everybody, whether to borrow a book, read one of the many international magazines, have a coffee or just to chat. Borrow? You can borrow a book for three weeks by leaving a 5 euro deposit, your name and phonenumber. We then make a membership card. After this period of three weeks you can extend the period for two more weeks by calling the library on saturdays or write an email to the AGA (agamsterdam@yahoo.com). In case of loss, you have to pay 20 euro replacement costs apart from the 5 euro deposit. If the book has been damaged severely, like for example from water damage, we keep the deposit too. Who? The library is a project from the AGA, the Anarchist Group Amsterdam. We are a group of people that, next to having the library, do things like organize information evenings, publish a magazine (called Direct Action), and actions around themes like housing, labor, anti-racism and repression. Are you interested in what we do, than you can meet us in the library. Our group is anti autoriarian, based on direct democracy and fights the repressive state, in which the interest of the powerful are considered more important than that of the people themselves.
