Global summary of april2008-related actions throughout the world (06.05.08)
A great diversity of tactics were used, ranging from banner drops to sabotage actions, along with street theatre, exhibitions, food not bombs, parties and discussions. However, the april2008 week-end was predominantly filled with demonstrations, Reclaim The Streets and squatting actions! More than 30 new squats were opened, quite often in cities which lacked a squatted social centre, and/or where antisquat policies had previously made it harsh to occupy empty buildings. While some of them have been evicted already, some are still here fortunately!

Manchester: "Freedom of movement for all & Defend autonomous spaces" demo (19.04.08)
Last Saturday evening, up to 200 squatters and supporters followed our call for an unauthorised demonstration in the city centre. We were accompanied by a samba band (Rhythms of Resistance) and two soundsystems mounted on bike trailers. With the cops not bothering to show up, we marched undisturbed from Victoria Station into the Northern Quarter, along Market Street and Kings Street , through Spinningfields into Castlefields.

April 2008: Voor vrijdag 4 en zaterdag 5 april 2008, roepen wij op tot twee dagen van demonstratie, directe actie, publieke informatie, straatfeest, kraken... ter verdediging van onze vrije ruimtes en voor een anti-kapitalistische volkscultuur (21.10.07)
Derhalve roepen wij op voor een internationale voorbereidings en coordinatie bijeenkomst op 24 en 25 November 2007, in de autonome ruite "Les Tanneries", gelegen in Dijon, Frankrijk.

Berlin: Køpi bleibt – und zwar so wie sie ist! (30.03.08)
Nach der Versteigerung im Mai 2007 und der kurz darauf erfolgten Kündigung der Mietverträge war die Lage der Køpi monatelang völlig unklar. Mittlerweile aber hat sich eine Situation ergeben, in der zumindest einige konkrete Fakten vorliegen – daher dieses Update.

April 2008: Am Freitag, den vierten und Samstag, den fünften April 2008 rufen wir zu zwei Tagen Demonstrationen, Direkten Aktionen, Info-Arbeit, Straßenfesten, Hausbesetzungen... auf, um Freiräume und antikapitalistische Kultur zu verteidigen (21.10.07)
Deshalb rufen wir zu einem internationalen Vorbereitungs- und Koordinationstreffen am 24. und 25. November in „Les Tanneries“, einem autonomen Projekt in Dijon (Frankreich), auf. Es ist ein seit 1998 besetztes Sozialzentrum in post-industrieller Umgebung.

Après la dernière Rencontre Internationale des squats et espaces autonomes à Dijon en France novembre dernier, voilà enfin la deuxième renconte, cette fois ci dans la banlieue de Berlin.

Al momento siamo un gruppo di persone coinvolte in vari spazi autonomi in giro per l'Europa che hanno deciso di iniziare a discutere a questo incontro. Nei mesi a venire conosceremo varie collettività e vedremo che ne pensa la gente di questo progetto di una due giorni di azione europea, e come vogliono esserne coinvolti.

Rydningen af Ungdomshuset er blot en af de begivenheder der vidner om den internationale repression mod selvstyrende ikke-kommercielle kulturer og bevægelser. Overalt i Europa er uafhængige frirum truet, og samtidig kriminaliseres forsvaret af dem, i stadig højere grad.

Barcelona: Nuevo Ateneo Okupado “MAYO 37" en Gracia (19.04.08)
Hemos escogido el nombre de Ateneo MAYO 37 por ser esa fecha en que la burgesía republicana y los comunistas, que hoy tanto hablan de memoria histórica, pusieron fin a casi un año de revolución social, el verdadero peligro contra el que se sublevó el ejercito nacional. Otros escogieron este nombre para su editorial hace casi cuarenta años. Se llamó M.I.L. y mantenían esa editorial con expropiaciones bancarias, os sonará el nombre del malogrado Salvador Puig Antich.

April2008: Recordatorio y información complementaria (10.04.08)
A pocos días de las jornadas de acción descentralizadas de abril2008 en defensa de las okupas y los espacios autónomos, aún estamos a tiempo de haceros llegar este recordatorio, con alguna información de última hora.

Kopenhaga: Eksmisja Ungdomshuset (03.03.07)
Dzisiaj około godziny 7 rano policja rozpoczęła atak na skłot Ungdomshuset (Kopenhaga, Dania), w ataku udział brały jednostki antyterrorystyczne, używając helikoptera i kontenera na podnośniku (co jest standardową metodą np. Amsterdamskich jednostek eksmisyjnych) policja dostała się do środka i rozpoczęła walkę z zabarykadowanymi skłotersami. Początkowo media korporacyjne informowały że skłot przejęto od razu jednak według duńskich indymediów do godziny 8 z budynku dobiegały odgłosy świadczące o dalszej obronie. W budynku zatrzymanych zostało 35 osób, obywateli Dani oraz osoby z "brygad międzynarodowych Ungdomshuset" w tym dwóch Polaków.
