2nd European Peoples Global Action network conference is
over and therefore the 6 days of really cool radio too.
We would like to thank all the people who worked together
to make this Peoples Global Radio a succes, including: Koekoeroe
Reedio, ASCII
Amsterdam, PGA
conference organisers, Rampenplan
foodsuppliers, other free radio makers, and all the people
who dropped by and helped with various stuff... We enjoyed
this conference and this radio! Looking forward to do more
of this in the future! Thank you!

A group of
enthousiastic people making radio joined hands under the name
Peoples Global Radio to cover the second european
http://www.pgaconference.org.
We are broadcasting every day of the conference from 18:00 till
24:00, starting friday. There are interviews with people from
the conference, background information about the topics discussed,
and a daily news hour at 20:00 and 22:00 with a summary of the
day and cultural events. The broadcast can be received locally
through 97.4FM on your radio in Leiden and worldwide through the
internet.
There are
also rebroadcasts of Diversity
Radio from the UN
world summit in Johannesburg.

Radio equipment & facilities are provided by the Leiden based
Koekoeroe radio station, the computer collective ASCII from Amsterdam,
and the organization of the PGA conference..
We would
like to invite people from other radio stations in other countries
to join us in live coverage and retrospectives on the PGA conference.
Now we are broadcasting we can still use people who want be the
roving reporters, or just want to help out.
