MY OWN PRIVATE IDAHO
Directed by Gus Van Sant, USA, 1991
Surreal character study focusing on the friendship
between two male hustlers, Mike and Scott, in
Portland, Oregon. They live on the streets, do drugs,
and sell themselves to men and women. Mike [River
Phoenix] is quiet, gay and suffers from narcolepsy.
Abandoned as a child, he is obsessed with finding his
long-lost mother. Scott [Keanu Reeves] is the
rebellious son of a high-ranking family, who lives
this life mostly to embarrass his father. Mike is in
love with Scott, who still maintains he is straight
and insists that his wild lifestyle on the streets is
only temporary. Together, they embark on a quest to
find Mike's mother, traveling from Portland to Idaho
to Italy, with Scott picking up a beautiful girl along
the way.

BUDD
Choreography + performance by Andy Howitt
Music by Charlie Barber
Taking as its starting point themes from Benjamin
Brittens opera Billy Budd, this new dance work
explores universal themes - the individual at odds
with society and the corruption of innocence.
TONNERRE DE BREST
Concept and performance by Eugenie Rebetez
Music by Anglique Ionatos
A dance solo reflecting the changing weather,
the electricity in the air, the time of nowadays. The
piece molds itself out of imaginary landscapes,
passing from the lightness of a rain through the
heaviness of the thunder.
The title is taken from a swear word of the Captain
Haddock, a character of the cartoon "Tintin". It is
the opportunity to look at nature with a smile.
TRAJET DPOIRE
by Marguerite Pechillon
Comment avancer contre le vent? Que faire des
obstacles? Est-il possible datteindre lobjectif que
lon sest fixe sans le profil adquat?
La danse dans cette pice est celle dun personnage
la fois clownesque, sensible et potique, qui se
dmne comme il peut avec toutes ces preuves sur son
trajet.
LITTLE SOMETHING
by Maria Micahailidou
A movement research project which explores
limitations in movement on one hand, and on the other the
range of movement possibilities of different body

THE SHOGUN ASSSASSINS
Directed by Sadao Nakajima, Japan, 1979
This is a film about a real person, Sanada Yukimura, who
fought a war against Tokugawa Ieyeasu. In the
beginning the film shows Yukimura fighting to defend
the Osaka Castle. He used very unconventional methods,

9-11: WEAPONS OF MASS DECEPTION
|
|
Alternatives to the "official" conspiracy theory of the 9-11 attacks.
9/11: ATTTACK OR GIFT FROM HEAVEN?
Twee Vandaag, Dutch TV Documentary, 2005.
Was 9/11 more than just an attack? Could the Bush administration have had anything to gain from the attack? Two prominent European politicians, Michael Meacher [ex UK Environment Minister] and Andreas von Bulow [ex German Defence Minister], express their serious doubts about the official version of the 9/11 story...
"The war on terror is bogus" - Michael Meacher.
"The official story is so inadequate and far fetched that there must be a different one" - Andreas Von Bulow.
LOOSE CHANGE
Directed by Dylan Avery, USA, 2005.
What if...
The Twin Towers were not hit by commercial airliners?
The World Trade Center was brought down in a controlled demolition?
The Pentagon was not hit by a 757?
Flight 93 was shot down?
4 years after September 11th, we are left with more questions than answers. This documentary addresses those questions, as well as providing the evidence necessary to begin answering them. From the phony bin Laden tape to the lack of a 757 at the Pentagon, Loose Change wraps everything up into an hour of solid evidence.
THE GREAT CONSPIRACY: THE 9-11 NEWS SPECIAL YOU NEVER SAW
Directed by Barry Zwicker, Canada, 2005.
Canadian journalist and media critic Barry Zwicker analyzes the use of fear to befuddle the public and deconstructs the so-called "war on terrorism" as a public control mechanism. Zwicker also examines what he believes is the depth of the failure of the military to function on Sept. 11 and inappropriate behavior by the president and his aides that day. In addition, the resistance of the White House to any proper investigation and the extreme taintedness of the 9-11 Commission and drastic underperformance are examined. Throughout, the compliance and complicity of the mainstream media in maintaining a trance of ignorance is addressed.
